This French artist was born in 1953 in the south of France (Gard).
She became interested in drawing and painting at a very early age and her first paintings were exhibited, along with other amateurs paintings, when she was only 16. That event occured in a small town, L'Isle sur Sorgue (Vaucluse), where she used to live then. There, that young talented painter met the well-known poet René Char who encouraged her to go further into her art.
For these last twenty years, she has been constantly and intensely developing her artistic activity; consequently, she was rewarded prizes and medals at several personal exhibitions or salons of living artists.
Her works were also displayed in quite a lot of art galleries: Les Baux de Provence, Albi, Saint Jean de Luz, Brantôme, Figeac, Marseille, etc...
The way she paints can be regarded as romantic, tender and soft; here and then, tiny, friendly and timeless fantasy characters appear on the canvas.
She is particularly fond of luminous landscapes from Provence with hazy, delicate, pink-blurred skies. She usually a spatula to apply slight touches of oil-paint on a linen canvas.
Her paintings are highly praised by European, American and Japanese connoisseurs.
