I am engineer, and I started painting at age 11.
My activities in the painting are interspersed between periods of very fertile and total abstention, not only because of lack of time, but also for lack of space (I never had a workshop).
The years between 1983 and 1985 were fertile, and then I discovered a new technique in acrylic: I use to invert the screen ( by using the canvas inside out). This provides effects that cannot be get on the normal side of the screen.
Since that age, over the years, I was exploring and improving this new technique, which I named "reverse acrylic".
Initially I explored the figurative, as seen in the works of 1989 and 1989, and after that I started to apply the technique to the abstract.
Exhibitions: Campinas-SP - 1989 Cataguases-MG - 1993 Juiz de Fora, MG - 1997
Now, in September 2010, a new period of fertility begins.
