Geoffrey Globus - Enter the gallery

Geoffrey Globus was born in Buffalo, New York in 1978, two days after the birth of Louise Brown.  He spent the first twenty-six years of life in various places around the Western New York area before moving to Seattle in 2004.

He has displayed and sold works at festivals, in boutiques and in cafes mainly in Buffalo’s historic Allentown District.

Inspired by the works of René Magritte, Alexander Calder, and Mary Lee Hu, his first attraction to wire sculpture was by viewing a Greco-Roman style pugilist that his brother, Chris, had created with twist ties.
