Self-taught, a poet, I have devoted myself for the past five years to painting. The foundation of my work is an incessant questioning about Art. "The Pianist" is an illustration of this--one piano, one melody expressing two different emotions for two people. Like in Art, no two people experience the same thing...My search leads me on various paths of exploration (primary colors, pure graphic design, or just the opposite).
That is the reason each of my paintings is so different from the others.
I created, for example, an interactive painting, actually 64 smaller canvases placed on a magnetic board to create one painting called GIDDIDO. The spectator becomes an actor of his own aesthetic, creating endless possibilities. GIDDIDO in french means phonetically, "I have an idea of the ideals"
Just as the ball-point pen has supplanted the fountain pen, I have replaced the brush with the syringue. This gives me greater autonomy in movement and thought.
I hope you enjoy your visit to my site. I invite you also to listen to the jazz trip hop "Nina Bakys" distributed by the label Avelouest for which I had the joy of writing the text.
Thank you and see you soon,
Guillaume
