Born on September 14th, 1957 near Armagnac, GERS (France) Born in the house from his old parents in a village of Gers, Erick Gelot knew a childhood of combat. At the age of 8, he draws, recopies; learns, self-educated. Later at 30 years he practices the pastel, commercial in Toulouse he finds these resources in his paintings, he is registered with his first contest and gains the first price for the two exposed frames and consequently follows a series of achievements, and connects exposures. At forty years he tries the oil-base paint, endowed with his hands, his style is marked by a strong expression of made alive colors of various technics suitable for him and unusual. His favorite subject is, the toreadors, the toros, the torémachie. Living in Toulouse he organizes days of exposures of paintings of artists in full centre town. With the inauguration he is the painter with the honor and he offers one of his tables to the mayor of Toulouse Mr Douste Blazy in homage for Spain on the attack of Madrid
