Vladimir Galakhov's world outlook, thoughts of life's sense, good and evil are fully and vividly expressed in his works. The author himself says: "In my deepest opinion, true artist has to obtain painfully enlightened sense of all being's end, bottomless and unexpressiveness of Universe and, at the same time, has to feel the astonishing harmony of the world".
Several large themes are may be found in V. Galakhov's art. One of the most important one may be defined as theme of organical unity of the world and deep exploration of all being's connection through its various elements. Among all works "Our Ancestors" (1991), "Humans-Rocks" (1993), "Guardian Angel" (1993), "Unity" (1991), "Alienation" (1997) deserve to be pointed as most important.
Another key theme is symbolic-allegorical. Cruelty and contradictions of modern life is reflected in philosophical work ""Dumbness and Eyelessness" (1997). Paintings of this series arouse various associations and complex feelings ("Dummies", "Falling" etc.).
Ideas of nature can be traced through whole V. Galakhov's art. Strange and silent Alupka's landscapes caress with silence and enlightenment. Tender, almost pastel gamma and distinctive interlaced touch create the feeling of light dream and peace. Landscapes of Ivanteevka are lyrical and touching ("Last autumn's sunray", "Rus'" etc.).
