Muriel Favrin - Enter the gallery

Born in Toulouse, member of the ART ET LETTRES DE FRANCE and of the ADAGP, I am referenced since 2003 with DROUOT-COTATION of the artists and I appear in the book LAROUSSE DROUOT-COTATION.COTE AKOUN

ARTABUS GOLDEN AWARD : WEBSITE muriel-art

My grandfather, painter and architect of the city of Bordeaux, and my father born in Venice made out of me a BAROQUE artist burned by the fire of Occitanie.

As a teenager, I grew up in the historic streets of the PINK CITY (Toulouse) between SAINT SERNIN, la DAURADE et les BEAUX ARTS.

Growing up I received the first prize in drawing, first prize in painting; I have always been passionate about art history. Later I found my inspiration in the Cathare passion.

With maturity my work found its true personality and my sources of inspiration, although they vary a lot, are close to my daily life.

I now live in the Mediterranean south where the light is the strongest, and I have tried all the different techniques including sculpture, using the clay from our region. But the desire for color slowly took over.
For the last few years, I have been working the oil paint in a classic way. But the knife is also a way for me to express myself in a more contemporary way, and it also gives diversity to my work.

I expose in multiple galleries:
