Enric Bardera
Quick access : Por las ramas |  Born in Figueres, Girona (Spain) in 1959. He currently lives in Madrid. Training He studied architectural engineering at the Madrid Polytechnic University (1978-1982), and photography and graphic design at the School of Communication, Image and Sound (CEV) (1981-1984). He trained as an expert in contemporary art at the National Distance Learning University (UNED, 1987-1988), in chalcographic engraving with the artist Alejandro Fernández-Arango at the Thyssen Museum in Madrid (2006-2007), and currently studies lithography at the School for Engraving and Graphic Design at the Spanish Royal Mint with the artist Luis Cabrera Hernández. In addition, he has participated in various monographic courses, including drawing classes taught by Salvador Dalí in summer 1976 at the Theatre-Museum Dalí in Figueres. Experience and exhibitions He first contributed to collective exhibitions of drawing and painting in his home town, Figureres, in 1973, 1974, and 1975. In 1977 he moved to Madrid to continue his studies. During his early years in Madrid, he participated in various poster competitions and did graphic work for several political and labor organizations. In 1984, with the painter Pedro Arbona and the photographer Eduardo Semprún among others, he founded the Grupo Galerie, through which he collaborated with various publications in the movida Madrileńa (the Madrid Movement). In 1985 he held his first solo photography exhibits in Madrid (Café Barceló and the Lonja de Moratalaz). Since 1990 he has participated in several collective shows of photography, painting and graphic arts. |
