 The Staub's are originally from Germany and Papa Staub has migrated in 1972 to Australia, then in 1988 to New Zealand and then in 1997 to the Philippines.
Dad was born in a town called Huttenheim, near Karlruhe,Germany.
His wife is from the Philippines and is still strongly represented there.Mama Staub (Teresita) was born in Pangasinan,Philippines.
In 1993 she went to New Zealand to meet Papa Staub (Karl-Heinz)
They married on 1.may 1993 in a town called Te Hapua wich is the most northern town of New Zealand.
They were married by an anglican and by a Ratana priest in the Te Hapua Marae.
Since then they had 4 children with each other and still have another 4 wich Papa Staub had from his previous marriage, so now they are all together 10. Daddy Staub is now 57 years old and has found again his long lost and neglegted hobby.
He loves to do sketches in pencil,paint with oils and is even trying his skills on acrylics and watercolors. He does excellent portraits of children and adults alike.
