Alain Neindre,
an untypical journey.

From the age of 10, he built miniature boats and models from old pieces of wood by using his father's tools, himself an outstanding DIYer.
At the age of 14, he attended, during his school years, two years of carpentery with an experienced carpenter.

Holder of a diploma in ajustable mechanics,
this self-taught carpenter has had a passion for working with wood for over 30 years.
This training base will help him considerably
in the understanding and the usage of
wood-working machines.

Aware of his shortcomings in woodwork skills, he attended several classes in working with wood and in particular marquetery with Francois Germond, a famous carpenter based on the Place de Paris.

In his search for knowledge, he subscribed to several specialized publications where he wrote some articles and presented his works.
In 2000, he participated in a lathe training course held by a professional carpenter Dominique Peuch du Bel If.
It was the beginning of a passion, « turning wood in a way similar to making pottery, the creation of a piece using his fingers and his artistic skills ».

From this passion a unknown concept will be born « a statuette created out of the turned wood ».  Clowns, musicians, women from all corners of the world, extraordinary hats,
will lead you to a universe where the outline of
the characters will talk to your imagination.
