Isabelle Leblanc - Enter the gallery

As a multidisciplinary artist, creation has always come naturally to Isabelle Leblanc. Coordinator of an art place near Quebec City, graphic artist, professional photographer and painter, to this born creator giving up one of these disciplines would mean giving up a part of herself.

Isabelle, a Canadian born in Quebec City in 1974, moved to Baie-Comeau shortly after her birth where she spent all of her childhood. Only as a teenager did she come back to Quebec's capital where she began to draw up her artistic career.

Later, she completed a technical diploma in women's fashion at Notre-Dame-de-Foy Campus, a Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts at Laval University and an internship in France at the École Professionnelle d’Arts et d’Architecture de Paris.

The art she fondly calls “graphic art” is one that is reminiscent of her many travels and experiences from the Gaspé Peninsula to Normandy. Her paintings display an array of colours seen throughout the day, like swaying tides on the horizon.  They shine like the summer sun dazzling down on the lake’s water.   They are golden like little treasures in the palms of our hands and bright like jewellery proudly worn on a night of celebration.
