 I've come to see the act of drawing having the capacity to reflect my internal 'state'. I feel a desire, to paraphrase Francis Bacon, to make a connection directly with the nervous system of the viewer. Hence, I no longer try and craft some pleasing asthetic or some sort of cogent narrative. I choose to just hold a mirror up to my own addled conciousness and simply reflect the untidy reality. ...
