   I am of Belgian origin and immigrated to the United States with my family in 1962. As a youngster drawing and painting were always my favorite activities.                                           

I received formal training in painting and graduated with a B.A. in Fine Art from the California State University of Fresno.                 

Now I reside in the country east of Sanger, near Fresno, California, where I have my studio. In the last five years, I have been showing at various venues in the Central Valley.           

  To emphasize light in a harmonious composition has always been my main technical focus in painting. Yet, my desire as a painter is to give voice to my subject, and to share my interpretation.
