Rose Derrien is an artist of Lorraine.
His fascination for the paint became for her its main means of expression. She likes working the oil paint for her transparency, her ease of the stump of colors. She works this medium with the hands mainly.
His themes are in the nature and we often find there the water, the source of life. She likes incorporating her imagination into realistic landscapes. His style evolves towards the fancy realism.
She wants to demonstrate through her work the beauty of our planet while injecting it a small key of nostalgia. Any possible doubt, the symbolism is there very present. His message is crossed.
