   I was born in Toulouse in 1960. As far as I can remember I've always been drawing.

   My first graphic thrills come from comics and illustration.

   I recently came to painting, it allows me to find some kind of balance between my two hobbies: drawing and music.

   I love to explore the twentieth century musical production, specially the blues: an apparently simple music that speaks to the heart and soul and that is a true witness of the life and struggles of the black american people.

   For my first exhibition in 2007 I made some portraits of bluesmen and of some jazz players... and I'm willing to go on this way.

   I try to bring back in my paintings and pastels a little bit of the feelings and emotions coming out of my models, hoping to share them with those who might take a look at my work.
