Robert Darabos is a current college student, studying Fine Art at Saginaw Valley State University while, in his spare time, working on the perfection and continual growth of his own ideals and conceptions of artwork.
Robert works predominately in the abstract forms, constantly questioning and attempting to advance the individual ideas in which he has discovered and developed in his own artwork.
Aside from general abstract forms of painting, Robert works dominately in styles of Drip Paintings, Geometric Abstractions, Conceptualistic Paintings, and various splatter styles. Robert also works in a select few styles in which he has discovered and started on his own, namely Geometric Portrait Abstractions (Flat Cubism), Splatter Screen Abstractions and Rorschach Abstractions.
The artist credits Pablo Picasso, Jackson Pollock, Andy Warhol, Louis Morris and Josef Albers as some of his greatest influences.
