Daniel Cosset, painter, was born in Lorraine, France, in 1952. After higher studies of trade, he left France to work abroad, and in particular in Africa and in the Antilles, West French Indies. Self-taught, he studied then at “ Beaux Arts” school in Versailles and worked in various art studios in Paris. Since the age of 20, many travels throughout the world enabled him to impregnate poetry of the colors you will find in his landscapes or his portraits. In the eighties, he started drawing with pencil, charcoal and pastel and then switched to oil-base paint in the nineties. He signed his works of art under DCL, Dici but since 2000, he signs under his true name, Cosset. Today, Daniel Cosset paints in his art studio in Guadeloupe, French West Indies.
