Martine CLOUET was born in Paris on March 31, 1953, self-educated painter, her fashion of expression was immediately naive. Member of Societe Nationale des Beaux Arts and Taylor Fondation, she is also president of naive painters association : GROUPE INTERNATIONAL DES PRIMITIFS MODERNES DITS NAIFS and she organize many naive exhibitions. 

"One of the big qualities of Martine CLOUET is very certainly her poetic look on life and on what she wants to see. Her compositions have in them this capacity to flood us of light and happiness. Indeed her work conceals numerous inventions without to disregard the rigor and the technique.
But when we look at works of CLOUET, we forget this technique (...) to only see the demonstration of an imaginary high in color and in anecdotes. For CLOUET, life is simple like a poem ".
