Christine Salama - Enter the gallery

Grand daughter of the périgourdin artist Robert DESSALES-QUENTIN, I was born in Paris where I lived during a few years. I arrived in Nîmes where I entered the Beaux-Arts school before joining the one of Lille. Then, Toulouse, where the successive jobs that I occupied were related to the artistic field. However, it was a few years later, in Lyon that I really implied myself in painting by attending the workshop of J.MONTAGNON assiduously. I was motivated even more when I arrived in Corsica where I worked with the painter P.S.MARCHI who made me discover the sea, the colors and the light which don't exist anywhere else. I discovered thereafter the sky and the clouds, so varied according to seasons; and why not travel with them ? Research starts through various techniques and on various supports. A long work of patience and research, the path which I followed for a few years...Many exhibitions: Lyon, Bastia, Meaux, La Grande Motte, Italy and Paris, in particular at the Grand Marché d'Art Contemporain. I also teach fine arts to children and preteens as well as drawing and painting to teenagers and adults.
