I was born in Charleville-Mezieres, in 1981. Eager for change, I pursued my upper education in environmental sciences in London.
Autodidact painter, I attended several drawing classes at the Instituto Superior de Arte at Havana, Cuba. In constant search of artistic enrichment, I practiced my drawing skills in artistic workshops and studied classic, contemporary and Afrocuban dances for several months. I also have a five-years experience in drama.
Artistic objectives
As a biologist, I have a particular interest in the animal kingdom, physical adaptations and the relationships that have been built through evolutions between the organisms and their environment.
My objectives are both artistic and pedagogical. Indeed, I wish to share my knowledge on these amazing beings and display their incredible shape diversity, uses and colors. The paintings elaboration has been deeply influenced by years of travelling through Europe, Latin Exhibitions Living portraits, Au dernier Sou, Charleville-Mézières, 12 September 2006 – 31 January 2007 Sentidos, 22th Feria Internacional del CATIE, Turrialba, Costa Rica, 4-5 May 2008
