Patrick Cauquil is born in 1959 and he lives in the south of France (Tarn).
Self-educated artist, he started drawing when he was a child and then used gouache, pastel, oil and acrylic technique.
After he painted for a long time many landscapes, portraits and still life, his work had evolved into a non-figurative style in the beginning of 90's.
Today, he continues to draw some portraits but the most important part of his painting uses the mandala's technique which is based on the sacred geometry.
