Born in 1964 in Brussels, Laurent Buntinx is a self-made artist.
As of the 2 years age, it spends the holidays on the sailing ship of his parents and discovers the charms of the sea; it nourishes his taste of the waves and the colors.
He paints his first oils at the 13 years age and then proves an enthusiast in love with Fauvisme.
With the end of his studies of graphics, he creates his own trade company and, being devoted to it exclusively, he puts away temporarily tubes, knives, brushes and pallet with... "later".
When he took a sabbatical season on his sailing ship at the beginning of 40 years, the daemons of the drawing and painting cames back. Watercolours of sailing ships met with the wire of cruisings or regattas, with large oils representing the North Sea, he always continues the same ambition; to express the love of this sea which he practises assiduously.
The paintings of "LAW", generally painted with a tender knife and ragor, start since 2004, from exhibition to shows, to magnifier the colors of the floods and the sky of the shores of the English Channel.
