My name is Mariya Aleksieva.I live and work in Burgas, Bulgaria. I graduate magister programme at Veliko Tarnovo University, "St. St. Kiril and Methody",Orthodox Faculty in iconography speciality. Since 21 years, I paint icones.They are painted with will tempera diluted with an emulsion with egg, but also with natural pigments and gold sheets, of copper or money applied to wood, by respecting the guns of the Byzantine tradition, thus recreating a single work of art.
